WARNING: Any de-icing compounds including ice melt and/or salt should NOT be used on concrete that hasn’t cured for at least 2 years. Use of these products may cause damage and spalling to the concrete. Alternatively, we recommend the use of sand to help prevent slipping on concrete that is covered in ice/snow. Damage caused to concrete by de-icing compounds is not covered under any kind of warranty.
